施用米糠對於有機水稻田初期雜草防治之效果

Effects of Rice Bran Treatment on Weeds Control in Early Organic Rice Fields

摘要


為了抑制有機水稻生育初期田間雜草危害,本試驗以米糠作為抑制雜草資材,所依據原理係於插秧後直接施用米糠,透過施用米糠造成田間低氧化還原電位的厭氧環境,以抑制雜草的發芽與生育。本試驗於花蓮區農業改良場慶豐田區進行,比較不同米糠施用量之差異,並歸納適宜花蓮地區之水田初期最佳米糠施用量為1,000 kg/ha,該施用量於宜蘭縣三星、礁溪、花蓮縣瑞穗、玉里及富里共6處有機水稻試驗田相較未施用之對照組,均可有效降低雜草株數與重量,具有良好的抑制雜草效果,故米糠是有機水稻初期雜草管理具潛力之資材,若搭配初期湛水管理可達到良好的雜草控制效果。

In order to suppress the growth of weeds in organic-rice-field, different amounts of rice bran were used as materials for suppressing weeds in this experiment. Low redox potential and anaerobic environment inhibiting weed germination and growth through the application of rice bran in the field was found. Different application amount of rice bran were tested in Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, and the optimum application rate suitable for Hualien area was 1,000 kg/ha of rice bran. The application rate was also tested in Yilan County including Sanshing and Chiaohsi, and Hualien County including Chimei, Donfeng, Chuten and Rosan. Compared to non-application of the control group, both the number and weight of weeds had been effectively reduced by the application of rice bran. To sum up, at the early stage of organic rice cultivation, rice bran is a potential material for weed management, and the combination of bran treatment and water management could achieve weed control.
