Choroid Plexus Carcinoma in a 2 Year-old Chinese Girl: MRI Demonstration

摘要

脈絡叢癌(CPC)雖然是一極為罕見的腦室腫瘤，但它在磁共振造影(MRI)的影像有特殊的表現。我們報告一兩歲的中國女孩罹患了腦室脈絡叢癌，MRI顯示腫瘤在右腦室而往鄰近腦實質侵犯。腦部血管造影顯示腫瘤由前和後脈絡叢動脈所供給。就我們所知來說，這是台灣的第一個報告。

We report the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of a rare case of choroid plexus carcinoma (CPC) in a 2 year-old Chinese girl. MRI showed a large inhomogeneously enhanced tumor in the atrium of the right lateral ventricle with extraventricular invasion of the adjacent brain parenchyma. Cerebral angiography showed a right ventricular hypervascular tumor predominantly supplied by the right anterior and posterior choroidal arteries. To our knowledge, this is the first report of choroid plexus carcinoma in Taiwan.
