摘要

面對中國的東南亞外交戰略，東協國家如何應對中國的外交戰略？首先，本研究先分析中國的東南亞戰略的思維與作為；其次，嘗試以中國外交戰略為主軸，探究東南亞各國在歷史因素、認知因素與經濟因素下，對中國的外交戰略的回應，進行系統化的討論。本研究以布林代數研究途徑（Boolean Algebra Approach）做為主要研究途徑，透過布林代數的運算，簡化出東協國家回應中國-東南亞外交戰略的必要條件（necessary cause）與充分條件（sufficient cause）。透過布林代數運算過程發現與中國市場互賴程度低以及東協國家對中國形象負面的認知的變數是東協國家以抗衡戰略回應中國的東南亞外交戰略之必要條件。

How does the ASEAN countries respond when facing China's diplomacy strategy in Southeast Asia? First of all, the thesis analyzes the thinking and behavior of China's Southeast Asia strategy. Secondly, the paper tries to take China’s diplomatic strategies as the main axis. It not only explores how Southeast Asia countries respond to China's diplomacy strategies under history factors, cognition factors, and economic factors but also discusses the situation systematically. The main research approach in this thesis is the Boolean algebra approach. Through the operation of Boolean algebra, this paper simplifies the necessary and sufficient cause for the ASEAN countries in response to China's Southeast Asia diplomacy strategy. Via the process of Boolean algebra, we can see that the degree of economic interdependence of China, and the negative understanding of China of the ASEAN countries are the necessary causes for the ASEAN countries to respond to China's diplomacy strategy by balancing.
