摘要

電信等級開放架構(CGOA)近年來已成為電信設備產業的重要趨勢，其目的是為了讓各家電信設備系統、模組及元件廠商可遵循統一的開放架構產出功能相容的電信商用套裝(COTS)組件，以提供電信營運商建置一個符合99.999%高可用度的電信等級服務。本文將針對CGOA相關國際標準的演進及市場趨勢做一說明，並介紹CGOA開放硬體平台AdvancedTCA的技術規格及其機箱式網路設備協定。最後，也將探討未來CGOA產業的技術發展藍圖。

In recent years, Carrier-Grade Open Architecture (CGOA) becomes a significant trend in telecom equipment industry. Based on this unified architecture, system, module and component manufactures produce compatible Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) building blocks for telecom operators in order to deploy highly available, 99.999%, carrier-grade services. In this paper, we explain the trends of CGOA related standards and markets and introduce the technical specifications and chassis-based network protocols of the CGOA's hardware platform, AdvancedTCA. The technical roadmap of CGOA industry in the future will be explored in the last section.
