摘要


無線軟體更新(Over-the-air Programming)可藉由無線裝置本身的無線通訊協定功能來進行軟體更新,而不需要利用傳統的有線界面如序列埠來進行軟體更新,其以成為無線嵌入式系統發展的新趨勢,ZigBee目前雖然已是最熱門的無線感測網路通訊協定,其本身的規格並未定義如何進行無線軟體更新,本文介紹如何在Linux平台的ZigBee裝置上,設計與實作無線軟體更新的功能。

Over-the-air programming is a mechanism for wireless devices to update software via their wireless protocol stacks. In this mechanism, the users no longer need to update software via traditional wired interfaces such as the serial port. Over-the-air programming is a new trend in embedded wireless systems development. Although ZigBee is currently the most popular protocol stack for wireless sensor networks, the over-the-air programming mechanism for ZigBee is still not defined. This paper introduces the design and implementation of an over-the-air programming system using a Linux-based ZigBee platform.
