摘要

本計畫結合Mobile Web 2.0發展趨勢，研發具國際競爭優勢之行動城市應用服務技術與國內首創之互動式學習技術，帶動國內Wireless City建置並引領Mobile Web 2.0應用服務新創產業，建立高附加價值服務/內容與行動終端整體解決方案，創造使用者及產業價值之極大化。FY96並於全球第一個由WiMAX Forum認可之M-Taiwan WiMAX Application Lab(MTWAL)，整合計畫研發成果與國內服務/內容廠商對國際進行應用服務展示，並與Google、Yahoo!等大廠合作進行應用服務整體解決方案國際輸出規劃，帶動國內新一代行行動數位生活應用服務與高附加價值行動終端產業之發展。

Web 2.0 is a business and technology revolution in the information and communication industry caused by the move to use the Internet as platform, and an attempt to understand the rules for success on that new platform. In this article we describe the development of enabling technologies for Mobile Web 2.0 services. We also show the results of some enabling technologies for novel mobile digital life services, such as versatile multimedia service for mobile community, intelligent video surveillance, and mobile learning.
