國中教師發展實作評量之探討-以自然與生活科技領域教師為例

A Study of the Development of a Performance Assessment by Teachers of Science and Life Technology

摘要


本研究旨在探討四位合作教師群在「自然與生活科技領域」發展實作評量的歷程以及實行實作評量過程所遇到的困難與解決方法,並探討國中學生對實作評量的感受。研究者主要以觀察及詮釋者的角度進行質性研究,收集資料包括合作教師群討論過程之記錄、合作教師的晤談、文件資料等資料,另外,對學生施以問卷及晤談,探討國中學生對實作評量的感受。以上研究資料經由轉錄和編碼後,進行比較、分析、歸納,以形成研究的主張。 研究結果顯示(一)合作教師群在發展實作評量歷程,大致有以下五個階段(l)決定實作評量的核心目的(2)設計評量的內容(3)設計評分工具(4)利用問卷與晤談得到學生回饋(5)評鑑實作評量的成效。(二)合作教師試行實作評量時所遇到的問題與解決方法,可以分五個部分討論,包括教師、學生、時間、評量、和場地器材等等。(三)學生對於實作評量呈現正面的感受。 本研究也提出了如何有效利用實作評量來增進學生的學習以及進一步研究的建議。

The purpose of the study was to investigate the development of a performance assessment in science and life technology curriculum in Taiwan by four cooperative teachers, to understand the difficulties they met during the process of implementing this performance assessment, and to assess students' perception of receiving performance assessment. Case study research method is adopted. The role of the researcher is a participant observer and interpreter. Data collections include journals, discussing records, audiotapes, videotapes, interviews transcripts, questionnaire, and documents. After being transcript and coded, data are analyzed and compared to form assertions. The finding were that first, the process in developed a performance assessment by cooperative teachers were ”Deciding the core purpose”, ”Designing assessment contents”, ”Deciding the scoring instrument”, ”Obtaining students' feedbacks”, ”evaluation of performance assessment”. Second, the difficulties that the case teachers met in implementing performance assessment can be discussed on five areas, such as teachers, students, times, assessment, place, and equipment, Third, the students show positive attitude toward performance assessment. Suggestions for improving effectiveness of performance assessment on students' learning and suggestions for further research are also provided in the study.
