Nasal Glomus Tumor Presenting as Epistaxis-Case Report
以流鼻血表現之鼻腔脈絡球腫瘤－病例報告
摘要
Glomus tumors originate from glomus bodies associated with body temperature regulation. The occurrence of glomus tumors in the sinonasal tract is extremely rare. We reported the case of a 41-year-old man with a complaint of intermittent epistaxis for 9 months. The local finding and image examination revealed an euangiotic mass in the left nasal cavity, which was confirmed as a glomus tumor upon biopsy. Complete endoscopic resection of the mass was performed under general anesthesia with hemostasis being cautiously maintained. The patient tolerated it well. No tumor recurrence was noted during the postoperative 8-month clinical follow-up.

脈絡球腫瘤（glomus tumor）是一種自球狀體（glomus body）細胞所增生的腫瘤。球狀體的功能與體溫調節有關。脈絡球腫瘤在鼻腔出現的狀況極為罕見，本篇報告為1名41歲男性個案，因間歇性鼻血9個月就診，局部及影像檢查發現左鼻腔內一血管豐富之腫瘤，經由切片而診斷為鼻腔脈絡球腫瘤。病人接受內視鏡手術仔細止血後切除腫瘤，術後復原良好，迄今8個月沒有復發的現象。
