近代日本《論語》研究之轉折-安井小太郎《論語講義》析論

The Turning Point of Japanese Study of the Analects-A Study on Yasui Kotarō's Rongo Kougi

摘要


若說明治五年(1872)出版的安井息軒《論語集說》一書,乃江戶時代《論語》研究之殿軍,而昭和九年(1934)才問世的竹添光鴻之《論語會箋》,乃是近代日本《論語》研究由舊學轉新學之過渡的話,則昭和十年(1935)第三度重新改訂出版的安井小太郎之《論語講義》一書,實堪稱近代日本《論語》研究之轉折點。 本文乃就安井小太郎《論語講義》一書,藉由考察其成書經過、著述體例、講義方法等,以究明該書揭示了近代日本何種新《論語》研究法?又此新研究法具有何種時代性意義?以及此研究方法的轉變,反映了何種日本漢學研究的新動向?又此種新動向向吾人拋擲出何種漢學研究的新課題?

If Yasui Sokken's(安井息軒) Rongo Syusetsu 《論語集說》published in the 5th year of Meiji (1872) was a comprehensive conclusion of the Analects《論語》studies in Edo period, and if Takezoe KōKō's (竹添光鴻) Rongo Kaisen《論語會箋》published in the 9th year of Shōwa (1934) was a transition to sinology in modern Japanese study of the Analects, then the 3rd edition of Yasui Kotarō's 安井小太郎)Rongo Kougi 《論語講義》 published in the 10th year of Shōwa (1935) was really a turning point in Japanese study of the Analects. Analyzing the research process, writing style, and commentary method of Yasui Kotarō's Rongo Kougi, this study attempts to answer the following areas of inquiry: what new method in modern Japanese study of the Analects does this book point out? And what is the epoch-making significance of Rongo Kougi? And what kind of research tendency of Chinese studies in Japan does its new approach show? And what new subject of Chinese studies does that tendency lead to?
