A case of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma of orbit was presented. This 4-year-old boy, native of Taiwan, noted to have progressive protruding of the right eyeball for about 2 months. Physical examination revealed a tumor mass palpable at the right temporal upper part of the orbital margin. X-ray studies were done, including skull x-ray, orbitography, chest x-ray, plain abdomen etc. Orbital exenteration (OD) and radiotherapy with Co60 5000 rads were performed. Pathological diagnosis revealed alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma of the orbit. A brief literature review on orbital rhabdomyosarcoma regarding to its age distribution, site of origin, metastatic modes, symptoms & signs, pathology, diagnosis, treatment & prognosis were also given.
