摘要

本篇報告榮總眼科最近八年來施行網膜剝離手術所發生之併發症之統計，總共有338眼接受視網膜剝離手術治療，其中引起併發症者有180例。大部份的併發症發生在前五年。因檢查方法和儀器，手術材料和手術方法有所不同，將338眼手術分成前五年和後三年兩個階段。61年6月至66年6月之併發症以厲害的玻璃體混濁和網膜出血為最多，其次為大型網膜邊增殖(Massive periretinal proliferation feration)。66年7月至69年6月之併發症則以大型網膜邊增殖佔最多，其次為玻璃體混濁。

A retrospective study was conducted on the surgical complications following various techniques of retinal surgery performed during the period between June 1972 and June 1980. In a series of 338 consecutive retinal detachment operations, 180 cases had postoperative complications. The majority of complications occurred in the first five years.
Due to the developments in the examination techniques, surgical instruments and surgeon's capability, the results were quite different between the first five years and latest three years. Therefore these 338 cases are divided into two groups accordingly. The first group consists of 164 cases which were operated during the first five years from June 1972 to June 1977. In this group, there were 117 cases with surgical complications. The most common complications were severe vitreous opacity and retinal hemorrhage. This was followed by massive periretinal proliferation.
The second group consists of 174 cases, which were operated in the latest three years from July 1977 to June 1980. In this group, there were 63 cases with complications. The most common one was massive periretinal proliferation and the second most common one was cloudiness of vitreous.
