單側視野受損之青光眼病人其視覺誘發電位之變化
The Pattern Visual Evoked Potential in Glaucomatous Patients with Unilateral Visual Field Defect
摘要
The pattern V.E.P, were recorded in 10 control p't and 19 glaucomatous patient with unilateral V.F. defect. There were no significant difference in latency and amplitude between control eyes and eyes of glaucomatous patient without V.F. defect (P＞0.1). Though mean N1 latency had significant prolonging in eyes of glaucomatous patient with V.F. defect, only a V.F. defect as large 1/2 V.F. loss had significant prolonging in mean N1 latency and decreases in amplitude (P＜0.05). 89% of mean N1 latency and 74% of mean P1 latency were longer in V.F. defect eyes of glaucomatous p't. Using pattern V.E.P. as an objective measurement of V.F. loss in uncooperative or unreliable patient is of some value. Whether the V.E.P. will be of any value in the early detection of glaucomatous damage prior to the onset of V.F. defect or abnormal cupping remains to be seen.
