摘要

真菌性角鞏膜炎(Mycotic Corneoscleritis)是翼狀贅肉切除手術罕見的併發症，在國外文獻上只有一例報告，而國內則未曾有人提出報告過，本文提出一位六十三歲男性，接受左眼翼狀贅肉切除手術後，眼睛一直不適，經多次取樣染色和培養後，證實為真菌性角鞏膜炎，雖經過藥物及手術治療，最後病人的視力仍然很差。真菌感染的診斷有時並不容易，尤其是剛接受過手術之患眼，有些病例更因誤用大量類固醇，使病情更加惡化；早期診斷與早期治療，對真菌感染是很重要的。

We report a 63 years old man who developed left eye Alternaria corneoscleritis at the site of pterygium excision three months after operation. Despite of aggressive medical and surgical treatment, the visual outcome was poor. In some cases, the diagnosis of fungal corneoscieritis is difficult since the organisms reside in deep layer of lesion. Furthermore, the postoperative routine use of topical antibiotics and corticosteroids also has been implicated in the pathogenesis of fungal corneoscleritis. Ophthalmologists Should be aware of the potential infectious complications associated with the surgical treatment of pterygia.
