摘要

目的：本篇報告兩個罕見角膜潰瘍之病例報告，經證實為Alcaligenes faecalis病菌感染所致。
方法：病例報告。
結果：Alcallgenes faecalis是一種嗜氣及葛蘭氏陰性桿菌，可從人類的皮膚、糞便及醫院器材上培養出此細菌。本文報告兩個角膜潰瘍的病例，併有上皮缺損及間質炎性浸潤。病例二病程中，曾有暫時性的前房積膿。將此二病人的角膜做細菌培養，皆證明為Alcallgenes faecalis感染，抗生素治療效果良好，恢復狀況亦令人滿意。
結論：有關Alcallgenes faecalis感染引起角膜潰瘍之病例相當少見，特提出報告。

Alcaligenes faecalis is an aerobic, gram-negative bacillus. It may be discovered from the human skin, feces and hospital equipment. We presented two cases of Alcaligenes corneal ulcer with epithelium defects and stormal infiltration. Transient hypopyon was noted in the second case. Cultures of the material scraped from the involved cornea established the existence of gram-negative bacillus-Alcaligenes faecalis. Antimicrobial treatments were effective and the recovery was satisfactory, Concerning the nature of the family Alcaligenaceae, the possibility of primary infection, nosocomial infection, opportunistic infection, secondary infection, and laboratory contamination should be considered.
