The Application of Graph Model in Over/Under Dimensioning Checking

A graph model for the automatic checking of over/under dimensioning of a part is presented. The location dimensions of a part are modeled using undirected graphs. This enables us to use various known properties of graphs to conduct the checking, and to apply known graph algorithms to analyze a given dimension scheme. This model has been successfully implemented in a prototype interactive package that allows the user to model location dimensions and automate the over/under dimensioning checking.
