摘要

本研究是針對台北都會區六家醫院中545位哺母乳産婦及416位哺餵嬰兒配方奶粉之産婦，以自擬之結構式問卷調查其基本屬性與哺母乳態度有無差異，並探討産婦決定哺餵牛奶之主要因素爲何。所有資料輸入電腦，並以SPSS/PC軟體進行分析，同時運用因素分析、t檢定、卡方檢定及百分比分析各變項間之關係。本研究結果發現産婦的年齡、籍貫、教育程度、胎次、生産方式、決定哺乳方式的時間、經産婦有無哺乳經驗等基本屬性，及其家屬對産婦哺母乳及哺牛乳的態度等變項均與其所選擇哺乳的方式在統計上有相關。而産婦對哺乳的態度及看法經由因素分析而可歸納爲「哺母乳與母嬰身體情況的相互影響」，「哺母乳的優點及價值觀」，及「母乳是否可被配方奶粉取代」三類。本研究發現，産婦在此三方面的態度及看法與其所選擇的哺乳方式具有統計上之相關性。本研究亦發現大部份産婦均肯定母乳的優點及價值，並認爲哺母乳對産婦本身及新生兒有利，但卻也不反對可用配方奶粉取代母乳。至於産婦攷慮哺餵嬰兒配方奶粉最常見因素爲「母親不良的身體情況（例如：B型肝炎，母親服藥）是否會影響嬰兒」及「環境及重要人物能否支持與協助」。

The purpose of this study was to explore the influencing factors on the mother’s selection of feeding method.
Using an investigator-developed questionaire. 545 breast-feeding mothers and 416 formula-feeding mothers were drawn from 6 hospitals in Taipei. The statistical procedures utilized in analyzing the data were factor analysis, t-test, chi-square, and percentage.
The results showed that the significant predictors of the mother’s decision of feeding method were:
(1)basic characteristics, including age, birthplace, education, -para, delivery way, frequency of feeding method, feeding experience, and significant others’ attitudes towards feeding; (2)the mother’s concept about breast-feeding, including the mutual influence between breast-feeding and the mother’s/baby’s physical condition, the advantage of breast-feeding and its value for mother, and the mother’s attitude about the substitution of human milk. The major concerns influencing the mother’s choice of feeding method were: (1)the impact of the mother’s physical condition on ber baby and (2)the support and help from significant others and environment.
