準父親初次陪伴待產及生產之經驗歷程

摘要

本研究的目的是深入探討準父親於陪伴其配偶待產及生產過程之經驗歷程。研究者係以護理人員之身份，采參與觀察和深度訪談法收集資料。總共訪談了10位準父親，訪談的內容以錄音記錄，再寫成行為過程記錄，以內容分析法分析、整理，且對準父親的經驗歷程，依其陪伴之過程進展，可歸納成：努力裝備自我、參與協助及照護、舒解身心，以重新裝備自我、努力嘗試護持配偶、孤立無援的等待、達到完成及如釋重負感、不相吻合感、不確定感等八項類別。其中前六項為具時序性的歸類，後兩項則為非時序性的歸類。而本研究依陪伴待產及生產過程之時序性及非時序性的變化，整體的呈現出準父親在不同時空定點中所體驗的經驗歷程，可做為產科護理人員在提供以家庭為中心的護理服務時之依據。

This study was to explore the lived experience of ten expectant fathers whose wives were in the process of normal spontaneous labor and delivery. During the course of labor and delivery, the first researcher served as a care giver and nurse-participant observer, then conducted an one hour in-depth interview 24 hours after delivery. The researcher wrote down as a narrative process recording from verbal and non-verbal behavior expressed by these expectant fathers during interviews. By content analysis, the verbal data of subjects was systematically analyzed and categorized.The results showed that the lived experience of the expectant fathers, according to the progress of the labor and delivery course, could be inductively categorized as following: (1) the chronological category-engaging in equipping self, engaging in helping and caring, relieving for re-equipping self, trying to protect and support partner, waiting without support, sense of accomplishment and sense of relief; (2) non-chronological category-sense of mis-matchedness, sense of uncertainty.This study was based on the change in various stages during the course of labor and delivery, could wholly manifest the expectant fathers' experience in various time. The results can be applied as references for nurses in their family-centered practical care to the expectant fathers.
