台灣地區不同時期地形圖套疊之研究
A Study of Map Overlay for Topographic Quadrangles of Different Stages in Taiwan

”How to exactly overlay each kinds of topographic maps in Taiwan” is an urgent research topic of feature changes in regional geography. Usually, in GIS application, it has been proved that the Rubber-sheeting method cannot meet the precision need of ground feature overlay. The effort of this research will based on the approach o f GIS application, using MapInfo professional software as datum transformation tool, repeatedly ”try and error” to find out the suitable parameters for overlaying topographic quadrangles of different periods.
