Government projects and subsidy have strong impact on the transformation of the industry and improvement of its international competition. This research investigates the relationship among project leader's competence, project execution discipline, and project performance with focus on government projects. It is found that, based on the empirical data and accompanied statistical analysis, the projects leader's competence has significant impact on projects' performance, resulting higher benefits to the society. Besides, the resources available and governance capability also affect projects' performance. The findings in this study can be used as basis of the project management and assessment for the government officers.
