The main purpose of this study was to explore the correlation between health behavior self-efficacy and health promoting lifestyle of the junior high school teachers and employees in Taipei City. The data was collected through structural questionnaires or interview with valid enrollment of the junior high school teachers and employees. Descriptive statistics, person product-moment correlation, stepwise regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The main findings included:<BR>1.The junior high school teachers and employees health behavior self-efficacy and health promoting lifestyle are all belong to medium higher. <BR>2. The junior high school teachers and employees of different age and the graduate of department showed significant differences in their health promoting lifestyle. Health promoting lifestyle were positive correlated to health resource and health behavior self-efficacy.<BR>3. According to stepwise multiple regression analysis, age, the graduate of department, health resource, and health behavior self-efficacy, were the significant predictors and contribute 45.1% variance to Health-Promotion Lifestyles.<BR>Based on this study, the results can be used as the reference of health policy making, health care practice, education, and also as the recommendation for the future research.
