In this study, the "self-assessment of farmers" is used to analyze the status of young farmers in Taitung and the degree of risk they can take, and the groups according to the differences between risk attributes of young farmers, then set up feasible counseling model. The questionnaire is designed with two major categories: basic (financial) information and agricultural risk attributes. Each question is assigned a reasonable distribution based on the professional opinions of experts to distinguish between the level of risk tolerance. The results showed that the questionnaire were analyzed by clusters to determine the correct rate of the clustering model. According to the differences in agricultural risk tolerance, it can be classified into 4 types, named "passive", "stable", "adventurous", and "active". According to the different risk attributes and characteristics of the young farmers, the corresponding guidance is given to improve the accuracy and efficiency of policy resource input.
