Development of Automatic Optical Inspection System for Magnetic Particle Inspection

摘要


磁粉探傷方法是利用材料中含有瑕疵造成的磁漏現象,來檢測鐵磁性材料的表面與次表面瑕疵,其品檢方式為品管人員於高功率紫外光下進行目視檢測,由於強烈紫外光容易對人眼造成傷害,檢測結果也容易因眼睛疲勞產生判斷錯誤而造成漏檢顧慮,因此本研究以車用等速接頭作為檢測樣品,開發出一套自動化瑕疵檢測系統,希望可以用於取代人工目視檢測;本研究採用自製鋁合金半圓管型漫射光源罩,降低待測件的反光特性,搭配高解析度之CMOS工業型相機擷取影像,經過基礎的影像處理以及輪廓找尋方式得到輪廓特徵後,將瑕疵與非瑕疵輪廓的面積、密集度、平均寬度與長度比率取出,最後將有瑕疵之處進行標記。

The magnetic particle inspection method uses the magnetic leakage phenomenon caused by defect of the material, this method is used to detect the surface and subsurface defect of the ferromagnetic material. The inspection method is that the human subjected to visual inspection under the high-power ultraviolet light. However, the strong ultraviolet light is easy to cause damage to the eyes of the inspector, and the test result is easily judged errors and cause missed inspections by eye fatigue. So, in this study, the constant velocity joint of the automobile is used as the inspection sample, proposed an automatic defect inspection system, and hope to replace visual inspection. In this study, the self-made aluminum alloy semi-circular diffuse light source cover was proposed to reduce the reflective properties of inspection sample, with using high-resolution CMOS industrial camera to capture images. After the image processing and using contour search method to obtain defect feature, and the image information of defect feature and non-defect feature is obtained through the program, such as the area, compactness, average thickness and ratio of length, finally mark the place of defect.
