古/典:現代性的辯證-以六○年代臺灣現代詩為範圍

A Discussion about Modernity and Classic from the 1960s Modern Poems in Taiwan

摘要


本文嘗試爬梳現代╱現實╱中國古典傳統三者的辯證,取其串聯的面向,從古、典二端來看:由古,談時間的延續、由典,談傳統的典範,如何在現代性的激盪中,產生了斷裂,又標榜延續。依序提出「無止盡的追尋」、「抽象系統的思辨」、「兩種時空的嫁接」三個觀照點,討論所謂的中國、民族風,在現代化的趨勢下,精神態度、表現手法都已經產生變革,把主題內容的審思,置換為風格美學,認為發展新的表現手法,便是身為詩人的責任;而現代化的風格,便是詩的現實。

The study attempted to clarify the discussions between modernity, realism and traditional Chinese classic. In this study, time and history, tradition and classic were both reviewed and discussed. It also disclosed how the modernity broke or extended, and influenced upon the time and classic works. The three viewpoints, 'the end never exist', 'question Instead answer' and 'connecting different time and space', were following expressed. In fact, the essence, attitude and expression methods for Chinese style or folk custom have changed or revised under the influence of modernization. Style aesthetics now was thought as a modern technique to present themes and poems. Modernity or modern style has become the reality of poems and the responsibility for a poet.
