The purpose of this paper is to study the content and characteristics of the Bulletin of Taiwanese Poetics since its transformation, in order to present its tendency to focus on the discourse and its turn to academics, and to evaluate its potential achievements and to explore the future development. The scope of the study is limited to the first thirty issues of the journal, trying to clarify the development priorities and characteristics under different editors. In addition, this article will also cover the establishment and development of the Taiwan Poetic Quarterly, including its concrete achievements in the past 25 years, and the specific impact on Taiwan and Chinese poetry.
