暴露於PM_(2.5)運動對健康者的心肺功能及炎症生物指標之影響:系統性文獻回顧

Effects of exercise exposure to PM_(2.5) on cardiorespiratory function and biomarkers of inflammation in healthy individuals: A systematic literature review

摘要


規律運動對健康有所助益;然而運動時心跳率、換氣量會隨著運動強度而增加,造成空氣中的細懸浮微粒快速、深入地進入人體而影響健康。目前研究較少針對暴露於細懸浮微粒濃度中運動對健康影響的相關研究。故引發筆者希冀藉由本系統性文獻回顧探討暴露於PM_(2.5)運動對健康者的健康影響。以PICO模式作為關鍵字,並利用MeSH terms及布林邏輯檢索,搜尋八個資料庫,找尋2023年3月前的中英文文獻,總共發現2591篇,經排除重複、再經納入及排除條件篩選後,最終納入16篇臨床試驗研究,並以Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool(RoB)2.0評讀文獻品質。結果發現暴露在高PM_(2.5)濃度下運動可能會影響健康;但暴露於低PM_(2.5)濃度環境下運動對健康的影響程度可能會因運動類型、運動強度,以及持續時間而有所不同。

This study aimed to examine the effects of exercise on cardiopulmonary function and inflammatory biomarkers in individuals exposed to PM_(2.5) pollution. The study conducted a systematic review of literature published in English or Chinese before March 2023, using the PICO model to identify relevant studies. The inclusion criteria were limited to studies that directly measured PM_(2.5) concentrations and included an exercise intervention, while animal, conference, and non-research articles were excluded. After removing duplicate studies, the review identified 16 relevant articles for analysis and consolidation. The quality of the studies was assessed using the Cochrane RoB 2.0 (Risk of Bias) tool. The results of the review suggest that prolonged exposure to high PM_(2.5) concentrations can have negative health effects, but the impact of low PM_(2.5) levels on health can vary depending on exercise type, intensity, and duration. This systematic review provides valuable clinical reference and application value for healthcare professionals, as it highlights the importance of considering the potential effects of air pollution on individuals engaging in exercise. It also highlights the need for further research in this area to better understand the complex relationship between exercise, air pollution, and health outcomes.
