The Traditional Chinese Historiography Narrative: A Discussion on TongJi by Chen-Jian

It is the main current of the Chinese traditional historiography that history narrative, the main line in Chinese historiography, is an excellent historiography culture inheritance. Five greatest characteristics of narrative in Chen-Jian's TongJi, explain chronological history being the carry of narrative. Narrative alone is not enough, it is also intended to attain practical use, combined with scholarship.
