靜電輔助應用於不同機械參數之不織布梳理工程的梳理性能探討

Investigation of Carding Performance in the Carded Nonwovens Process with the Aid of the Static Electricity for Different Mechanical Parameters

摘要


本研究係延續了先前一系列有關靜電應用於非織物梳理成網製程之研究。在先前的研究結果顯示了外加靜電於工作羅拉上所測得的表面電位與羅拉上纖維負荷以及成網均勻性間似乎具有相關性。在本研究中,則繼續探討靜電輔助改善不織布梳理成網均勻性之可行性應用,並探討應用在不同機械參數上之差異。研究中並配合變化不同的外加電位參數進行探討。實驗結果顯示PET纖維梳理摩擦後會產生微量負電荷,而羅拉上纖維負荷量會受纖維本身摩擦起電電性與外加靜電電性的排斥作用影響。另外,成網均勻性與羅拉上纖維負荷量也具有相關性。整體來說,在選擇適當條件之靜電應用後確實會改變羅拉上之纖維負荷量,而進而影響到纖維之梳理性及纖維網均勻性。

This paper is one of a series of studies on carded-web forming process with the application of the static electricity on the working roller. Previous studies seemed to show a relationship between the measured surface potential of working roller, he fiber loading (the collecting power of the carding element), and uniformity of the fiber web. In this study, the feasibility investigation of the electrostatic method, which was applied on the carding process to improve the uniformity of carded-web, was continued to apply for different types of fiber. The results showed that PET fiber generates a few negative charges during carding process, and the change of fiber loading on working roller depended on electrostatic repulsion between the polarities in tribo-electrification process and ones that the static electricity was applied on. In addition, there was a relationship between the uniformity of fiber web and fiber loading of working roller. Generally, the electrostatic technique indeed can improve the roller fiber loading, carding performance, and the web uniformity by using suitable conditions of applied static electricity.
