六龜試驗林台灣杉人工林造林撫育之成本分析

摘要


本研究以六龜試驗林未疏伐台灣杉人工林為對象,分析不同林地在不同輪伐期下每生長1立方公尺林木所投資之造林成本,以為將來選擇造林撫育優先次序的參考。造林成本係經農民僱用工資指數調整,以1996年為基期之實質成本,以為同一基準下進行投資效率比較分析。研究結果顯示,林地單位面積造林成本並不受造林面積大小及環境因子包括坡度及可到達距離之影響,原因可能是造林面積不夠大及環境因子間的差異性小,尚不足以影響造林成本之高低。然而由於各林地之生產力差異甚大,高海拔地區之生長量較高,林木低海拔地區則較低,因此不同林地每生長1立方公尺材積所投資之造林成本則有極大不同,研究結果顯示,台灣杉人工林在同一輪伐期下,低海拔(小於1200m)地區的每生長1立方公尺材積林木所需造林成本為高海拔(大於1500m)地區的2.66倍。每生長1立方公尺材積造林成本較低的地區,多集中在北區屬高海拔之3、13及14林班,成本較高的地區則為10及20林班,屬於中南區海拔較低之地區。

Silvicultural costs of unthinned Taiwania plantations at different elevations and rotation ages in the Liukuei Experimental Forest were analyzed. The costs were adjusted to 1996 real cost with farmer's wage index. Cost per hectare was not significant influenced by planting area, slope and accessibility, due to the small difference among the areas of these topographic factors. However, elevation is the main factor that affect the timber growth, therefore silvicultural cost per hectare is strongly depended on elevation. The result reveal that areas of lower silvicultural cost per m^3 were mostly in the northern and high altitude parts, i.e. compartments 3, 13, 14, and the bad ones was in the central and southern parts were at lower altitude, i.e. compartments 10 and 20.
