言語行動研究に関する一試論

A Preliminary Discussion on the Study of Language-Behavior

摘要

本稿は、言語理論における言語行動研究の位置づけ及び言語行動研究の本質や輪郭の構築について考察を行ったものである。結果としては、次のようなことが明らかになった。1.言語行動研究という学問の意味概念は伝達するというプロトタイプからメッセージのやりとり、事象概念の構築、意思疎通の能力へと発展している。2.人間の言語行動研究は人間、行動、認知、文化、社会などの要素を結び付けて研究する学問の研究領域である。3.言語行動研究は言語知識の研究に限らず、人間と人間との伝達行動に関する研究、人間の心の表現と社会生活の姿、文化の魂などに関する研究までも含まれている。

The study aims to investigate the role of the study of language-behavior in linguistic theories and its nuclear meanings as well as its theoretical framework.The results show that:1. The concept of language-behavior refers to the process from the conveyed prototypes, to the mutual interactions among messages, to the construction of the event concepts and finally to the development of communicative competence.2. The study of human language-behavior is cross-domain research which integrates such factors as humans, actions, cognitions, cultures and societies etc.3. The study of language-behavior is not limited to the research on linguistic knowledge. It also includes the investigation of the interpersonal communicative behaviors, humans' mental expressions, the variety of social life styles and cultural spirit etc.
