原文本《百喻經》成書時代以及傳譯諸況略考

A Brief Research on Forming Time of Original Version of "One Hundred Fables" and Some Aspects of Spreading and Translating

摘要

本文主要討論漢譯佛典《百喻經》的原文本成書時間，與現存漢譯本相類似的故事傳入中土以及形成文本的時間。從《百喻經》的翻譯時間、方式等問題可以分為：一、原文本的《百喻經》成書時代，其大約成書於西元400至450年，當是僧伽斯那為了宣揚大乘佛學以及對小乘佛學的批判而編撰的；二、與現存漢譯本相類似的故事至少在三國時期已通過口耳相傳至中土，在東晉時期可能已存在零星的與現存漢譯本《百喻經》相類似的故事文本；三、《百喻經》可能在永明九年（491）內開始翻譯至永明10年（492）後半年完成；四、該經的翻譯方式可能是在官方要求和幫助下而進行的集體活動。

This article will mainly discuss three problems: 1. The forming time of original version of ”One hundred fables” formed. 2. When some stories has been transmitted through oral saying spreaded to China. 3. When and how it was translated into Chinese. Firstly, the original version of ”One hundred fables” was formed in between 400 and 450 and it was used to propagate some principles of dacheng fo xue and criticize xiao cheng fo xue. Secondly, some stories which had the same characters with the Chinese version of ”One hundred fables” spreaded to China by means of oral saying in San Guo period. Thirdly, ”One hundred fables” was properly started to be translated in A.D. 491 and finished in 492. Lastly, the translation of ”One hundred fables” was properly ordered and offered aid by government.
