道教「天人合一」的生態智慧對當代世界的啟示

道教從「天人合一」思想出發，將外在的自然宇宙視為人生存與發展的根源，以確立自己在自然宇宙中的位置。道教宣導人只有循天道而生活，法自然而行動，才能夠參天地之化育，並成就自己的德性。道教的這種順之以天道，應之以自然，以普遍生命為關懷中心的生態智慧，可以説明我們一方面更好地認識人類目前所面臨的生態危機，另一方面則可以促使我們採取積極態度和有效方法來保護人類棲居的自然環境，促使人與環境（包括自然環境、社會環境和人文環境）的關係更加和諧。道教「天人合一」中隱含的人類必須依賴於「整體的福利」，才能實現人類與經濟、文化和環境的共同發展將越來越受到重視。
