網際網路輔助戒菸課程於青少年之成效

The Effect of the Internet Assisted Smoking Cessation Program among Adolescents

摘要


本研究旨在發展與評值一套應用網際網路電腦輔助教學的「戒菸課程」,並進而探討實施「戒菸課程」影響青少年菸害認知、吸菸態度、吸菸行為及自我效能的成效。本研究採準實驗性前後測的研究設計,77位吸菸高職學生採非隨機分配至實驗組或對照組。實驗組有6週的戒菸課程並加入網際網路輔助教學策略,對照組則不予以任何措施。戒菸課程實施前後,二組皆接受前後測試。以「吸菸綜合量表」及「教學活動過程評價表」評值戒菸成效。本研究結果發現:菸害認知與吸菸態度、吸菸行為、自我效能等間無相關性;吸菸態度與吸菸行、自我效能等則有顯著相關。戒菸課程實施對實驗組吸菸學生的菸害認知提昇、吸菸態度改變、吸菸行為抑制、自我效能增強有顯著性的成效。此外,多數的實驗組吸菸學生認同此戒菸課程,表示喜歡且有助益,對網際網路輔助教學策略亦多持有肯定的態度。本研究結果可提供吸菸青少年的戒菸課程規劃與執行之相關資訊。建議未來的研究可在本研究所發展的「戒菸課程」基礎下,再次進行實驗研究以更確認其適用範圍與成效。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the smoking cessation program with Internet computer assisted instruction among adolescents, which was focused on improving smoking knowledge, changing attitude, reducing smoking behavior, and enhancing self-efficacy to quit smoking. A quasi-experimental pre-post research design was used for the study. Seventy-seven smoking students, obtained from the vocational school, were assigned into the groups. The experimental group was treated with the 6-session smoking cessation program, whereas the control group was untreated. Both two groups were assessed by the questionnaires before and after the program. The results of this study showed that no relationships between smoking knowledge and any of the followings: smoking attitude, smoking behavior, or self-efficacy. However, self-efficacy has significant effect in smoking attitude, and in smoking behavior. For the experimental group, smoking cessation program significantly increased smoking knowledge, changed smoking attitudes, reduced smoking behaviors, and improved self-efficacy to quit smoking. Most of the experimental students were interested in cessation activities and thought these activities were useful and helpful. In addition, most of them were interested in the Internet computer assisted instruction. This study suggests more efforts on study to verify this smoking cessation program.
