The Research on the Combustion Characteristics of Emulsified Visbreaking Bottom Based Fuel Droplet

This paper reports on the combustion characteristics of emulsified Visbreaking bottom based fuel droplet by an improved equivalent comparison method. The combustion characteristics under different degrees of fuel emulsification of Visbreaking fuel are investigated. The effect of water-content affects the latent heat, micro-explosion, the ignition delay, the combustion rate, and the combustion efficiency of the Visbreaking fuel are addressed. As the watercontent in the Visbreaking fuel increases, the ingition delay, the combustion rate, and efficiency increase. The burning time is shorter, the amount of residue is less, and the degree of smoking is lighter for emulsified Visbreaking fuel than that of un-emulsified Visbreaking fuel.
