Decision-Making with New Grey Relational Grade Based on Entropy and Minkowski Distance

The purpose of this paper is to propose two different kinds of new grey relational analysis based on entropy to help decision makers to find the best appropriate decision-making with different needs. Nagai proposed Minkowski distance for new grey relational analysis approach in 2005. In this paper, two new grey relational analyses are based on the basis of Nagai's grey relational grade and entropy. Through entropy, decision-makers can get the information from each alternative itself. In addition, decision-makers also can avoid making subjective judgments. Two proposals of grey relational analysis that not only have the significant information about each alternative through entropy, but also can find the best decision making as well as Nagai's grey relational grade. For illustration of this, two practical examples are given to demonstrate the applicability and benefit of two proposed methods, the results show that it is capable for finding the best alternative by using entropy in decision making problems objectively.
