The wave of globalization has already had a deep impacts on curriculum reform in major countries. Nevertheless, little systematic analysis has been made in terms of the impact of globalization in the field of curriculum theories. This research reviews and analyzes the curriculum theories at present, past, and the future under the structure of globalization from a historical perspective. First, we discuss the curriculum trends under globalization in major countries as background and reference for analyzing curriculum theories. From a historical perspective, we discuss the relation between the past development of curriculum theories and the current trend. Finally, we analyze meanings and suggestions of future development trends from different curriculum theories under the structure of globalization.
