摘要

《紅樓夢》以家庭居住空間為敘事重心，是典型的「象徵型環境」，含藏訊息，具有加深作品意蘊的功能。小說主要敘事空間為榮國府及其中的大觀園，其中居所空間的分配暗示家庭中成員間的權力與地位結構，而附居與獨立居住影響人物對自我意識的把握，獨立居住的人物往往展現更加豐滿的言行，增補人物主體形象的圓滿程度。第74回抄檢大觀園深層侵犯園中各院主人的私密居所空間，也是權力互動與自我申述的重要表現情節，另外抄檢路線的安排可以窺見空間敘事實際服務於文學效果。本文以《紅樓夢》榮國府「院」級居所空間為材，探析隱藏於居所敘事中的家庭與人物權力與自我展演。

The Dream of Red Chamber is a classic literary work contains the idea of ＂symbolic environment＂, which narratives from describing the living space of the family to emphasize the hidden meaning of power. The space mainly being described to compose the story are the Rongguo House and the Grand View Garden. The distribution of the living space implies the power and status of the member in the family. Furthermore, the condition of living, being independent or not, also implies the character's self-conscious. The character who lives independently would be rich in having multiple expressions and developing into a vivid figure. During chapter 74: Searching the Grand View Garden, the plot of searching the room of the house has deeply violated the privacy of the master of each room. This plot is important that represents the power interaction and the self-expression between characters. Other than that, the arrangement of the searching route also shows how the strategy of spatial narrative structure can be applied in literary work. This thesis would be focus on analyzing the hidden meanings and ways how power and self-presentation interact within the family members in Rongguo House.
