修正模型技巧在秀傳紀念醫院牙科的運用

摘要

下顎在製作活動假牙時，常常會遇到遠心端缺牙的情形。在遠心端缺牙時，因為牙齒和牙齦因受力而造成的沉降量有很大的不同，所以在製作活動假牙時無法在一次印模的情形下將牙齒和牙齦正確的相對關係一次印出。所以才有修正模型技巧的產生。修正模型技巧是利用兩次印模的方式，將牙齒和牙齦的相對關係正確的取得，修正模型技巧的作法有很多種，各有其優缺點。這篇研究是針對秀傳紀念醫院牙科對修正模型技巧的作法和理論基礎提出說明，希望能提供牙醫師對處理這類病人的參考。

When fabricating removable partial dentures at the mandible, a distal free end occurred often because of the sharply different amounts of displacement caused by force between the teeth and gingiva. Therefore, it tends to be more accurate provided that teeth and gingiva impression are made separately rather than simultaneously. This is the so-called altered-cast technique. Altered-cast technique contributes to many types of methods, and each method has pros and cons. This research aims to describe the application of the altered-cast technique. I explains the theories on which altered-cast technique are based on ine the Dental Department of Show Chwan Memorial Hospital.
