健康課程教學對某國小高年級學童之口腔衛生行為之成效研究

The Effects of Health Education Courses Intervention on Students' Health Behavior in Higher Grades of an Elementary School

摘要


本研究旨在探討健康教育課程對國小高年級學童口腔衛生行為之成效研究。採用準實驗研究法,以臺中巿東勢區偏遠地區兩所國小五、六年級普通班學生共62人為研究對象,某國小為實驗組共30人,另尋求同為偏遠地區社經背景相似但非口腔衛生議題的友校五、六年級普通班學生共32人為對照組。其中實驗組接受為期四週、每週一次、每次40分鐘,共四節的口腔衛生保健課程之教學,對照組則不參與任何實驗處理。在實驗教學前進行前測,並於課程教學介入後一星期進行後測,以評價成效。本研究結果主要發現如下:一、實驗組在「口腔衛生知識」後測分數顯著高於前測,而對照組並無明顯進步。二、實驗組在「口腔衛生態度」後測分數顯著高於前測,而對照組的表現是退步的。三、實驗組在「口腔衛生行為」前後測分數並無顯著差異存在,但對照組的後測分數卻顯著低於前測。四、本研究證明教學介入對於學生在口腔衛生行為上具有一定的成效。

This study aimed to discuss the effect of health and physical education courses on oral health behavior of school children in higher grades of an elementary school. By adopting the quasi-experiment approach, this study took 62 students in ordinary classes in Grades 5 and 6 of two elementary schools in the remote Dongshi District, Taichung City as objects of study. One elementary school was selected as experimental group with 30 students in this study. The other 32 students from another elementary school near by were selected as control group which had no oral health course intervention. The experimental group received a four weeks oral health care course that was conducted once a week, 40 min per session. The control group did not participate in any experimental treatment. Pre-tests were performed before experimental teaching, and post-tests were executed after the intervention of courses teaching for effect evaluation. Main findings of this study are as follows:1. The post-test score of experimental group in ”oral health knowledge” was significantly higher than pre-test, while control group did not show obvious progress.2. The post-test score of experimental group in ”oral health attitude” was significantly higher than pre-test, while the performance of control group regressed.3. The pre-test and post-test score of experimental group for ”oral health behavior” did not show significant differences, but the post-test score of control group was significantly lower than pre-test.4. Proving that intervention of this study had definite effects on the students' oral health behavior.
