我國國民小學健康課程之演變

摘要


我國國民小學課程標準自民國18年頒佈「小學課程暫行標準」以來,至民國82年計歷經十次修訂。歷次的課程標準修訂均是因應社會變遷及時代需要,並參酌過去施行得失與他國發展經驗,由專家學者多人規畫而成。本文根據國立編譯館教科書資料中心所保存的歷次小學課程標準,以健康教育為主題對過去的課程演變做一個回顧,希望值此發展九年一貫國民教育階段新課程之際,能達鑑往的功效,以展望未來的健康教育新趨勢。回顧的結果可發現:健康課程未受到應得的重視;曾經出現過的理想的健康課程設計精神未能延續;健康課程的內容設計過度以知識的介紹為主;健康課程應該反映生活所需、符合時代趨勢;某些健康相關的議題長期持續存在、益顯其重要性;健康教學宜家庭、學校、社會環境配合,落實於生活中。

In 1929, the Contemporary Curriculum Standard for Elementary School was announced and took effect. Ever since then till 1993, the curriculum standard for elementary school had been through ten times of revision. Each revision, based on consideration and comparison of the previous standards and standards of other countries, was deliberated and made by scholars and experts to meet social trend and requirement of the times. The present study, with health education as its research subject, revisits the evolution of these standards. It aims at providing advantages and disadvantages of previous revisions, and at the same time setting up a new perspective for future health education. The findings are as follows: (l) health education has not received as much attention as it deserves. (2) the ideal spirits of health education curriculum, once shown, fails to maintain. (3) too much emphasis is laid on the introduction of knowledge when designing health education curriculum. (4) health education curriculum should reflect needs in life and follow the trend of the times. (5) extra importance is displayed by the repeated subjects concerning health. (6) family, school and society should cooperate to cope together with health education.
