菊科及大戟科植物抗發炎活性分析及篩選

Analysis and Screening of Anti-inflammatory Activity on Compositae and Euphorbiaceae Plants

摘要


本研究以19種菊科植物及18種大戟科植物之50%甲醇萃取物來進行生物活性分析。實驗結果顯示,利用細菌脂多醣誘發鼷鼠RAW264.7細胞產生NO之抑制發炎活性評估,在參試之菊科植物中,以台灣款冬之抗發炎活性最佳,約92.56%,其抑制NO生成的IC50為27.59 μg/ml。對於癌細胞株(T24、HeLa及HepG2)之細胞毒性指數值(CI%)分別為14.68%、3.67%及37.82%,對正常細胞(3T3細胞株)之細胞毒性指數值約30%。在參試之大戟科植物中,以白飯樹之抗發炎活性佳,約74.42%,且不會影響RAW264.7巨噬細胞之存活率,對癌細胞株T24、HeLa及HepG2之毒性較低,僅分別為25.54%、30.73%及35.33%,但其對正常細胞(3T3細胞株)具有強烈細胞毒性,細胞毒性指數值約96.6%,綜合上述結果,台灣款冬及白飯樹具有較佳之抗發炎活性,未來若欲開發利用,仍需進行相關毒性試驗評估。

In this study, 19 kinds of Compositae and 18 kinds of Euphorbiaceae plants were extracted by 50% MeOH for bioactivity assay. The anti-inflammatory activity of plant extracts was performed by the inhibition of lipopolysaccharide-induced NO production in RAW264.7 macrophages. Petasites formosanus Kitamura had the highest anti-inflammatory activity (about 92.56%) of Compositae plants tested. However, it showed cytotoxicity on normal cell line (3T3) (CI% about 30%), but not on cancer cell lines (T-24, HeLa, and HepG2, (CI% are 14.68%, 3.67% and 37.82%, respectively). In Euphorbiaceae plants extracts, Fluggea virosus Roxb. Willd had the higher anti-inflammatory activity(about 74%) of plants evaluated, this plant also showed strong cytotoxicity on normal cell line (3T3) (CI% about 96.6%), but not on cancer cell lines (T-24, HeLa, and HepG2) (CI% are 25.54%, 30.73% and 35.33%, respectively). In according to the above results, Petasites formosanus Kitamura and Fluggea virosus Roxb. Willd had great anti-inflammatory activity, but the toxicity should be concerned for the development in the future.
