喪葬研習課程之調查研究

Funeral Service Course Design

摘要


本文欲了解台灣某喪葬研習課程學員對於課程肯定及接受的程度進行探討,藉由美國課程規劃檢視本國相關課程安排,並論及現階段美國喪葬教育面臨的一些問題,包含學員抱怨需通過那個程序繁雜的學習才能從事喪葬工作。本文也針對某喪葬研習班的學員進行學習評值,發現學員大都滿意在喪葬研習班課程的學習,也大致都肯定這些單元的教學。此外本文還發現我國因社會文化因素較著重在喪葬儀式的行為,因此台灣現行喪葬服務教育以教授社會科學課程內容居多,公共衛生相關學術課程比例明顯最少,建議在未來課程安排上可依比例平均分類成公共衛生、企業管理、社會科學、法律倫理、禮俗與生死觀、通識課程此六大學群。並宜仿照美國ABFSE、ICFSEB、NFDA,成立全國大專院校的喪葬服務與喪葬科學課程的認證機構、儘早成立相關喪葬證照考試制度、幫忙提升國內現有的殯葬同業公會全國聯合會功能。

This study explored the funeral service curriculum in a Taiwan college. After taking the course, the students were asked to assist to fill out a questionnaire about the contents of the curriculum. Most students attending the funeral service classes reported satisfied with the course. This study also revealed a cultural preference for traditional funerals. In Taiwan, the curriculum in most funeral service institutions tend to emphasize funereal rites the most and emphasize public health matters the least. Thus, researcher suggested that a future curriculum should classify courses into six groups: public health, business management, social sciences, legal ethics, rituals and customs and general education. The institutions in Taiwan should take into account ABFSE, ICFSEB, NFDA in the United States on funeral service curriculums. A national organization for authenticating funeral service curriculum as well as a national examination system should be established for certification, and try to improve the functions of the existing funeral and burial trade association in Taiwan.
