大學護理系學生實習重症單位壓力之因應行為

Stress Coping Behaviors Among Undergraduate Nursing Students in a Critical Care Unit

摘要


本研究目的在於探討大學護理系學生於重症單位實習時面臨壓力時之因應行為。以北部某醫學大學護理系日間部四年級臨床實習單位為重症單位之學生盪研究對象,採立意取樣的方式,運用質性研究方式,以低結構性問卷方式進行深度訪談,並以內容分析法歸納護生所運用之因應行為。研究結果顯示護生實習重症單位其主要的因應行為以五大主題呈現:(一)、增加實習準備度;(二)、勇於面對問題;(三)、協調改變;(四)、建立個人模式;(五)、情緒的轉化等。本研究深入了解大學護生於實習重症單位之因應行為,其結果有助於臨床指導老師及護理人員能及早了解學生面對實習壓力的反應及因難,亦可作為日後設計臨床選習相關課程內容的參考。

The main purpose of this study was to explore the coping strategies of undergraduate nursing students related to clinical practice in a critical care unit. Thirteen nursing students were interviewed to explore the strategies they use to cope with practicing in the critical unit. A low structured interview was conducted, all interviews were pate-recorded, and then transcribed verbatim. Results were analyzed by using content analysis. The results were as follows: (1). To prepare themselves for clinical practice, (2). to encourage themselves to solve problems actively, (3). to communicate and negotiate change, (4). to build up their own principles and behavior patterns, (5). emotional control. There results identify the specific needs of this group, providing information for nursing education, counseling service for students, and further use to promote the quality of nursing care.
