促進縣市合併後的都會治理成效：美國地方成長管理機制經驗的啟示
To Bring Local Growth Management Mechanism Back in Planning the Growth and Development for Metropolitan Governments: The Experiences of USA

After the county and cities consolidate one municipality directly under the jurisdiction of the Central Government, the next step for the municipal government is to stimulate the growth of its jurisdictional districts, and then satisfy the expectations and needs of its residents. This article hopes to borrow the experiences of USA growth management theory and practice to plan and implement the development of future metropolitan governments. As well, this article reviews the data of population density of the district governments for each metropolitan government to plan its future development.
