薏仁豆奶對倉鼠脂質代謝之影響

Effect of Adlay Soymilk on Lipid Metabolism in Hamster

本研究探討薏仁豆奶對倉鼠脂質代謝的影響,以30隻雄性倉鼠為實驗動物共分三組,分別是(1)控制組;(2)15%薏仁豆奶組;(3)30%薏仁豆奶組,試驗共進行四週。試驗結果發現,攝食30%薏仁豆奶飲食會明顯降低血漿總膽固醇、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(low density lipoprotein cholesterol;LDL-C)及三酸甘油脂濃度,並降低血漿葡萄糖及胰島素濃度。此外,薏仁豆奶飲食會明顯降低血漿中thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS)值,但只有15%薏仁豆奶組會降低肝臟TBARS值。在肝臟脂質方面,薏仁豆奶飲食雖不會影響肝臟總膽固醇及三酸甘油脂含量,但皆會明顯提高肝臟磷脂質含量,而以30%薏仁豆奶組最高。綜合以上結果顯示,薏仁豆奶可能具有調節倉鼠血漿脂蛋白膽固醇代謝之作用。

This study was designed to investigate the effect of adlay soymilk on lipid metabolism in hamsters. Thirty male hamsters were used as experimental animals and divided into three groups. There are (1) control group, (2) 15% adlay soymilk (15% ASM) group, and (3) 30% adlay soymilk (30% ASM) group. Fresh diet and drinking water were available ad libitum for four weeks. Hamsters fed with 30% ASM diet had a significant decrease in plasma total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and triglyceride concentration. In addition, significantly decreased plasma glucose and insulin concentrations were observed in hamsters fed the 30% ASM diet. Lower plasma thiobarbutyric acid reactive substance (TBARS) value was observed in both 15% ASM and 30% ASM groups. Although no significant difference was observed in liver cholesterol and triglyceride contents between the three dietary groups, higher liver phospholipid contents were found in hamsters fed with the 30% ASM diet. Results from t his study suggest that adlay soymilk may regulate plasma lipoprotein cholesterol metabolism in hamsters.
