The main purpose of this study is to explore definition, factors, effect and methods to prevent of teacher's burnout. It also aims to comprehend current situation of teacher's burnout in Tainan area. This study is accomplished with the process of literature analysis and questionnaires. Based on the literature analysis, the definition, factors, effect and methods to prevent of teacher's burnout are brought forth to tackle with. Primitive understanding of all these issues helps to scaffold the fundamental and theoretical guidelines for research. The ”Questionnaire for Teacher's Burnout in Tainan Area Preschools” was later used for investigation on the current situation of teacher's burnout in Tainan area preschools. The survey is conducted with 979 copies issued and with792 effective copies returned. Based upon the research findings, conclusions and suggestions would be offered for central and local educational authority, preschools and teachers.
