「尊重」在校長領導實踐之探討

A Research of the Respect in the Practice of Principal's Leadership

摘要


學校為適應外部環境變遷,必須維持內部的穩定發展。在學校中,成員高度期望校長能採行尊重領導,而這種領導者尊重部屬的領導行為卻是我國傳統文化中較缺乏的層面。德國道德哲學家Immanuel Kant就主張「尊重」,他強調要以人為目的,不要將人當作工具。學校成員期望被領導者所尊重,不僅在私生活領域上,也希望在學校工作中受到尊重。因此,校長作為學校的靈魂人物,其尊重領導思維與智慧,將影響學校氣氛與教育品質。 本文以一個國民小學為個案,運用訪談方式,蒐集尊重在校長頷導之相關文獻,加以整理與分析,透過探討學校校長面臨教育環境變遷的挑戰與困境,分析尊重領導理念的發展趨勢,以教育行政理論為基礎,探究個案校長尊重領導思維,並提出校長尊重領導應有的作為建議。

In order to face the change of the outside environment, schools must maintain a stable inner development. Among the campus, members are expecting the principal can implement respectful leadership. However, our traditional culture is lack of this respectful leading behavior. German moral philosopher Immanuel Kant emphasized on respect and aiming the purpose on people rather than as tools. The expectation of being respect not only focused on the personal area, but also on the effort to the school. Therefore, as the key man of the school, the principal should carry out respectful leadership and improve the educational quality. By collecting and analyzing the relative documents, this study explore the respectful leadership cases though discussing the principal's challenge and difficulty among facing the change of the education environment. Based on the educational administration theory and analyzing the concept and future trend of the leadership, this study can provide the suggestion of the respectful leadership for the principal.
