教師專業標準的理論與應用

Theory and Application of Professional Standards for Teachers

摘要


教師專業標準乃是當前教師教育重要的議題,這些標準可用來作為師資職前教育課程、教師專業發展和教師工作表現評估的基礎。本文旨在探究教師專業標準的理論與應用。首先說明教師專業標準的意涵和功用;其次闡析教師專業標準的發展沿革;復次闡析教師專業標準的相關理論;接著分析各國教師專業標準的內容;最後提出教師專業標準的實際應用,包括發行教師專業標準手冊,擴大教師專業標準效益等六項。

Professional standards for teachers are impotant issues in teacher education practice around the world today. These standards are the foundation for teacher preparation, professional development and evaluation. This paper explores the theory and application on professional standards for teachers. First, it analyzes the concept and functions of professional standards for teachers. Next, it explains the development of professional standards for teachers. Then, it examines the related theory of professional standards for teachers. And then, it discusses the professional standards for teachers from USA, UK, Australia and Taiwan. Finally, it presents to practice of professional standards for teachers in Taiwan, including: Developing the handbook of professional standards for teachers to enhance its effectiveness, etc.
