摘要

「三界唯心」與「霹靂說」分別是佛學與科學闡述宇宙生成的兩個假說。對於宇宙開端的探索，這兩個不同的系統竟得出類似的結果－宇宙是從「空無」3中生出來的，實在令人驚奇。然而，雙方所說的「空無」，仍有差別：科學所指的「空無」，與「心」無關；佛學所說的「空無」與「心」，是相關的。此外，這個結論，佛學可以透過修行而加以驗證；至於科學，則無法以實驗的方式來加以證明。

”Triple realms existing only in minds” and ”Big-Bang cosmology” are two kinds of hypothesis about the birth of the cosmos respectively presented by Buddhism and Science. In exploration of the universe's birth, these two different systems amazingly share the similar induction that the cosmos is generated from vanity. Nevertheless, there remain some discrepancies in the so-called ”vanity” held by both ends: the one from science has nothing to do with ”mind” while the one from Buddhism is related with ”mind”. Again, the conclusion induced by Buddhism could be further experienced through cultivation; yet science could not verify it with experimental approach.
