目的:本研究旨在探討中部某區域教學醫院行政人員職場疲勞與自覺身心健康的現況與其關聯,並分別分析職場疲勞與身心健康在不同背景變項下的差異。方法:針對研究對象進行結構性問卷調查,總計發放297份問卷,有效回收為269份,回收率90.6%,以敘述統計探討職場疲勞與自覺身心健康的狀況、使用獨立樣本t檢定與單因子變異數分析分別探討職場疲勞與身心健康在不同背景變項下是否有差異。職場疲勞與自覺身心健康的關聯,則以相關分析與迴歸分析等方法進行驗證。結果:醫療行政人員會因教育程度(p < .05)的不同和管理層級(p < .001)的不同,而在工作過度投入有顯著差異。不同服務單位,在生活與工作相關疲勞(p < .01)、服務對象疲勞(p < .05)、生活及社會功能(p < .01)、身心健康反應(p < .05)有顯著差異,且均是行政部門高於醫療相關部門。職場疲勞與自覺身心健康呈顯著相關。迴歸分析顯示職場疲勞對於自覺身心健康的解釋力達65.4%。結論:職場疲勞與自覺身心健康具有中度關聯性;在職場疲勞程度上會因為教育程度管理階層而有不同,而且行政部門高於醫療相關部門。因此醫院管理者應正視行政人員的職場疲勞與身心健康,提供資源改善職場疲勞以調適行政人員身心健康,建立友善工作環境。
Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the working burnout and perceived physical-mental health conditions and relationship between working burnout and perceived physical-mental health for administrative staff in a regional teaching hospital. Analyses of differences in working burnout and perceived physical-mental health under different demographic variables were conducted. Methods: A total of 297 structured questionnaires were distributed, with 269 valid questionnaires, and the effective response rate was 90.6%. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the data, two independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis methods were conducted. Results: The perceived over-commitment in the work were significantly different for the different education (p < .05) and management levels (p < .001), respectively. For different service department, living and working burnout (p < .01), client-related burnout (p < .01), life and social function (p < .01), and responses of physical-mental health (p < .05) were significantly different, respectively. Working burnout and perceived physical-mental health were related, and working burnout can explain physical-mental health with by 65.4% using regression analysis. Conclusions: Working burnout and perceived physical-mental health were moderately positively correlated. Working burnout varied by different education and management level. Furthermore, the orking burnout for administrative staff are higher than medical-related staff. Managers must take the working burnout and physical-mental health seriously and provide resources to reduce the working burnout and improve physical-mental health of administrative staff, and therefore create a friendly work environment.
