語彙圖譜教法在日語教學的應用與成效-以日語初級教科書為例

The Application and Effectiveness of Vocabulary Map Teaching Methodology in Japanese Language Teaching: An Analysis of Elementary Japanese Textbooks

摘要


日語語彙的數量相當龐大,據各種統計資料顯示日本成人的平均單字量約40,000~50,000個,而外國人學習日語時,若依照舊制日本語能力檢定試驗的認定基準,1級需具備10,000個語彙,2級則需學會6,000個語彙。因此,建立起一套有效學習日語語彙的方法顯得十分重要,同時有技巧地教授日語語彙,並擴充單字量,在日語教學上也具有一定的重要性與必要性。本研究的目的是有系統地且有效率地幫助學生學習語彙。研究內容會先指出日語初級教科書中收錄的新單字之問題點後,再透過語彙圖譜與語彙網絡的概念,利用群組記憶的方式,探討如何從日語初級教科書蒐集關聯性高或是容易聯想的語彙。學習單一語詞並非止於詞意和用法,同時也必須掌握與其他語詞間的關聯性,更要了解與其他語詞所構成的整個群組關係。因此,本研究旨在創新日語語彙的教授方法,並應用語彙圖譜的教法,整理出一套有效率的學習日語語彙的新方法,且能實際應用到日語教育上。

The number of vocabulary in the Japanese language is extremely large. According to one statistic, the average vocabulary for a native Japanese adult is approximately 40,000 to 50,000 words. By the old Japanese Language Proficiency Test standard for non-native speakers, a 10,000 and 6,000 word vocabulary is required for level 1 and level 2 proficiency respectively. Therefore, establishing an effective Japanese vocabulary learning methodology is very important. In addition, the technique of teaching Japanese vocabulary with the goal of increasing vocabulary volume is important and necessary. This study uses the vocabulary map and vocabulary network concepts. It uses single vocabulary and applies the group set memory method to memorize related vocabulary group set. Thus, the purpose of the study is to innovate and provide a new view of Japanese vocabulary teaching methods by applying the vocabulary map teaching methodology to find the new ways of effectively learning Japanese vocabulary and use that in Japanese vocabulary teaching. Hopefully, this will help learners to systematically study numerous Japanese vocabularies and make a contribution to Japanese education in Taiwan.
